I have been following Lindsey’s blog for a while now and every single recipe of hers that I’ve made has been incredibly delicious, so I knew that when her cookbook came out I HAAAAAAD to buy it! I’ve already made 3 recipes since getting it 2 days ago…Needless to say, those 3 recipes have been a home-run hit with everyone my family (toddler included)!Like her husband, I too have type 1 diabetes and look for low glycemic foods because it makes controlling my sugar a lot easier. Cauliflower has been a staple in my house for years for this exact reason.Type 1 Diabetes aside, this cookbook should be a staple in everyone’s kitchen because the recipes are D E L I C I O U S , super clean, and are incredibly easy to make (no need to run to the store for weird ingredients or to order a random kitchen gadget), everything you need to make these recipes is most likely already in your pantry.And as a graphic designer, I can’t write this review without talking about the look & feel of the book itself. The design and photography are MINT and carry a great unity throughout the book. And bravo on the paper stock and embossed cover. You can F E E L the quality of this book when you turn the pages and hold it in your hand. Bravo Lindsey, you should be very proud of this book! If I could give 10 stars I would!
This book should be 10 stars! Lindsay’s recipes are easy and delicious! I love the effort that went into this book. This is a cookbook that you don’t just love a few recipes they all look amazing and easy!Delicious superfoods That you make at home. So I will give Cauliflower Power 10 stars!
I preordered this blushing gem and was giddy to see it had finally arrived! The recipes are creative and simple, which is a major plus. *Loved* the coconut-crusted poppers, and I am ready to explore all of the other innovative ways to use one of my favorite veggies. Nachos? Chili? Hash-brown waffles?!? Yes please and thank you. I am unabashedly tickled (pink) over the book’s design. The soft, rosy cover serves as a perfect backdrop for a flirtatious cauli glamor shot. Never has a cookbook looked so pretty in my kitchen. xoxoxo
Love that every recipe has a picture. It’s well done and the recipes are FANTASTIC! My teenagers and husband have enjoyed all of the meals I’ve made. Definitely worth your money!Cauliflower has become a regular item on my grocery list.
This book is absolutely gorgeous! There is such a diverse range of recipes for everyone and I’m so excited to try them all!
I love the creative use of cauliflower in all the recipes. I have been living with type 1 diabetes for 31 years and appreciate finding recipes that are not only nutritious but also lower carb as I personally find my blood sugars do better with lower carb (your diabetes may vary!) my husband has celiac so I am always on the look out for gluten free recipes that my whole family can enjoy. Thank you for creating this wonderful cookbook!
