Customers Review:

I enjoyed The Coroner, and was so excited to receive my copy of the next book in the series, Secret Remains. It picks up right where The Coroner left off, and did not disappoint. I thought the story and character developments were well done. Emily is still trying to figure out where she belongs, all while trying to find answers to a horrible crime. There is a good supporting cast, and a few plot twists that make this a very enjoyable read.
This new installment from Jennifer Graeser Dornbush does not disappoint. It was gripping and full of suspense and mystery. I was a huge fan of the first book and was so excited when I was able to pre read and review the second!! And I loved it even more than the first. This is a bestseller for sure with the best plot twists and turns to keep you reading well into the night.
This can easily be read as a stand alone from the previous, although the first was fabulous as well. Fast paced and very readable, I had a hard time putting it down. I loved the twists and turns this one took and I look forward to more in the series! There were a few nights I stayed up too late, simply because I needed to get at least a page or two into the next chapter. You really get to know the characters more in this one and the plot was paced nicely. It was a true pleasure to read!
Great sequel. But stands alone just fine. Jennifer touches on real life problems while her main character works on a cold case. Was a great read over holiday break.
This book held my.interest. I love I did not have to read the first book to enjoy and follow the plot of this book. I now want to read the first. I read this.book in 24 hours. Although I thought I knew who did it the twist at the end was unexpected. Looking forward to.more from this writer.
Jen delivered again on a great murder mystery. It is able to be read independently, but also is an exciting sequel to The Coroner’s Daughter. I am hoping that Jen continues to write!
Love this book, love this Author. I don’t read a lot of books but I loved the first one so much (The Coroner) that I had to get Secret Remains. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Clever and fun to read!
A solid follow-up to The Coroner! Perfect vacation read… a cozy caper that satisfies. Wonderful protagonist!
