What Thatcher did to put Great back into Britain, Trump has joined forces to do the same in America. It is not just a conservative agenda, but one which challenged all “business-as-usual” politics in both socialist Europe and the former slide into the abyss fomented by both Clinton and Obama. One hopes that Johnson will perform the same surgery on the British landscape. This should include uplifting not only British workers and the middle classes, but to work hand-in-hand with Trump to rebuild the lost leadership of the English-speaking world.
