Customers Review:

This is one of the cutest, most eye catching books for the very young that I have read in a very long while. The story is the universal hide and seek theme but done in such a clever way. The illustrations are incredibly appealing and had my 3 year old granddaughter giggling. The animals are all in areas where one would normally find them in nature and I loved that little reality in this book. I think this one will become a classic! The littlest ones will have fun going back over the pages to find where baby was hiding on every page, once they know what to look for!!!I would highly recommend this for any child ages 1 to about 3. Really great little book for every toddler’s library.I received an ARC of this novel from the publisher through NetGalley.
When my youngest was a baby, she used to put a blanket on her head and wait for someone to notice. Then, as soon as we said, “Where’s Lucie?!” she’d start shaking, pull the blanket off her head, and squeal. That universal game. Presented fresh… that’s this book. Without being the slightest bit cloying (a feat in itself), it’s totally charming.
If you’re a preschool teacher, a librarian, OR even a parent wanting to teach the idea of spatial concepts aka positional words (on, under, behind); this is a great beginner book on the topic! It is told in a simple format and engages the child/reader because not only are you learning the positional words, but you’re also encouraging talking. You can seek and find the ‘baby fox’ hiding from his dad! Precious story and great concept book!
Super clever and engaging picture book. Great toddler book with the dearest illustrations. Children will love it!
