So I kinda gave up and just do my own digging.Till now.Of course I would buy this! Of course I’m Cory’s biggest fan and support all he does! But this!!!!????I am so crazy impressed with the heart poured into this book! It is so well written, so deep and meaningful, so full of the Spirit of God! I’m truly blown away!!! I am VERY picky about devotionals. Very. As in, I don’t usually like them because they are either too short and fluffy and don’t have a lot of deep content, or they are way too long and read more like a book than a devo. There are a select few I have come to really appreciate over the years, and this is one of them! I’m a huge fan of Cory, and Reckless Love meant a TON to me when it first came out a few years ago. At the time, I was living in Jerusalem, Israel, doing a year-long discipleship training program. The song popped up on Youtube while at work, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. The following week, our young adult team spent the weekend in the desert at Timna, where I had the honor of leading worship with my team for the weekend. “Reckless abandon” became our theme for the trip, and Reckless Love became our anthem during our discipleship year. It still hits me every time I hear it.So when I heard Cory wrote a 40-day devo based on the song, I knew I had to get it. He doesn’t disappoint. Long enough to make you think, with “going deeper” questions at the end of each day and relatively deep theological content woven throughout his personal stories. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Reckless Love is a unique look into the heart behind one of the most influential songs of our time. To see our God as Recklessly pursuing our hearts and minds. Cory does an amazing job of writing from his heart, and showing us with Biblical backing, just how much God truly loves us, and how he recklessly pursues us with his loving heart. I highly recommend this devotional!
This is one of the best devotional books I have had in a long time! Cory does a great job of sharing his personal stories and balances it with scripture. He has beautifully captured the heart of the Father in these pages!

What a great book on the Fathers love. Corey expresses in his book about how the Father loves us unconditionally. Even in our failures and shortcomings the Father is always there to love us and pick us up. Corey also wrote a song of reckless love and is a great worship leader. Corey tells of his failures and how the Father has picked him up every time. This is a great book for younger people who struggle with their problems. This book will encourage and lift you up daily. Great book to give your loved ones.. A book you can read over and over. I loved it. |
