Book Description

From the Inside Flap Havyn smiled as her grandfather walked out the door. How she loved her family. With a glance around the room that had been their gathering place every night since 1892, images washed over her.The exquisite grand piano that Granddad paid for in gold and had shipped up from Seattle so their mother could play for hours each day and teach all of them music. The massive windows that looked out upon the beautiful rolling hills surrounding their farm–how many fingerprints and smudges had she and her sisters made on those panes when they were younger? The dark, wood shelves filled to the brim with music and books.Oh, how she loved this room! It was so warm and inviting, with the massive stone fireplace in the corner. They’d practiced their instruments, sung their hearts out, had their own concerts, and even held Sunday services here. She’d also been told more than one secret in this room. Probably because she was a good listener and she also knew how to keep a confidence–She wrapped her arms around her middle and looked back to the window.Dad.He used to tell her secrets.Oh, how she missed him. Her little-girl memories of him were a treasure. Why did they have to leave him buried on the mountain in Cripple Creek? It seemed so cold and unforgiving up there. As a child, that was the part she couldn’t understand. Even now as an adult, it felt . . . wrong somehow.|Tracie Peterson is the bestselling, award-winning author of more than 100 novels. Customers Review:

This deserves five because it was about people who were faithful to there belief in God and living a life without corruption or greed. The characters were believable and interesting. It kept my interest all the way through the book. Looking forward to the next book.I enjoyed all the people in the story as they were so diverse and different from each other. Thank you for sharing your talent and your faith. Outstanding read and one I will surely not forget.
This is one of the best books I have ever read! The story was great with its history of how things were back then. How God works through us if we only let Him. Forgiveness is a hard thing but very powerful. Letting go of secrets is also a hard thing but nothing is impossible with God. Thank you Tracie and Kimberly for this wonderful book!
Can not wait to read more about the red headed sisters Such an easy read, hated to set it down.
This is a great story to read. Strong characters and strong storyline. Lots of different elements in this story that entails struggles, loss, dishonesty, faith, trust, and forgiveness. And of course a love story.
Was a good book to read hard to put down of faith and love you have to read you want regret it.
Very happy with both the fast service and the product thank you
Excellent read. You may not be able to put this novel down.it has it all family music Deceit murder love & forgiveness. Enjoy the read.
Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse keep this story hopping, never remiss of incorporating some golden nuggets of Christian faith. I like that. Three farm sisters surely means two more books for “The Treasures of Nome” series to wrap up all threads.A farm outside Nome, Alaska, holds a family of three generations eking out survival in a 1904 world of gold-seekers and the corruption that accompanied an area overcrowded with unsuccessful miners. The closeness of the family and their faith is enough to warm the hearts of anyone reading this delightful historical interpretation of life in the cold arctic. Love, loss, murder, deceit, music, and medicine form trails through the snow accompanying a farm menagerie of milk cows, chickens, sheep, and of course, sled dogs. My media complimentary copy kept me engrossed from the prologue. This story’s worth a gold nugget or two.
