Nice about the dog. May think about reading the next book with KENDRA MICHAELS.
Typically I gobble up anything by Iris Johansen. This book dragged for me. Kendra has always been very straight forward about helping the FBI, making it clear that her priority was her students. The fact that she started out being deeply involved in a terrorist activity in a foreign country that she was furious to be booted out of, was unbelievable. She’s always fought against being involved. How did she jump to diving in head first as though she were an agent, sneaking off on her own to find bad guys, and not once during the main story did she mention her passion, teaching music to children with special needs! The only time she was at her job was in the epilogue. So, is this book an aberration? Or is it the addition of a second author?

I have read and enjoyed all the Kendra Michaels books. In HINDSIGHT the danger hit close to home. Her beloved school Woodward Academy. Major cartel and other thugs killed two who worked at the school. Lynch, Kendra, Olivia and Jessie team up to defeat the bad guys thus saving the school. Olivia obtains a companion in the story also.I really l loved the story.
Someone is killing people she loves and respects. These two people were among the many who have helped Kendra Michaels become who she is today. Throw a huge recovering dog, a neighbor who is her best friend and a charming former FBI agent together to create a story that will keep you guessing until the last page is turned.
This is a great series,always makes you think of what’s next,or what did I miss,what clue is right in front of me,but I’m not seeing it clearly.fast paced,great story line,with a great plot ,showing complex and exciting relationships that make you want to keep turning the pages
Loved this book. But definitely wanting to see more in the way of the relationship between Kendra and her love interest. Some of the moments between them was great but want to see them growung together as a couple now and not back and forth anymore.
The heroine’s powers of observation are entertaining but her attitude never changes and gets tiresome. Have to put the book down to get a break from the giant chip on her shoulder. She is a real b |
