Read more Customers Review: “The Seamless Life” is a good read for anyone wanting to integrate worship and work from a Christian perspective. While we are not to worship our work (that would be idolatry), we do need to see work as much more than just getting a paycheck. For the Christian, work is an opportunity to bring Jesus to work with us.The author, a college professor, brings his insights on the world of work based on his life experiences, as a college professor, and consultant to several organizations. Some of the topics covered include:- Plusses and minuses of capitalism (the author appears to be a capitalist at heart).- Necessity of combining (instead of separating) faith and work.- Workplace culture.- Growing and learning in our career.- Practicing good business ethics.Many more topics are covered in this short read. The book is easy to read, contains good insights, and smoothly transitions from point to point.
