Read more Customers Review: I read and loved the adult version of this book so it was really cool to see Brad come out with a young reader’s version. While I don’t personally have a problem with the subject matter that was removed, this version is something that will appeal to a broader audience of parents and reach younger groups of kids. And it’s still a fantastic story. This book was a page turner. Even though we all know that Washington survived, the chapters were well-paced and built suspense throughout. It reads more like a spy story than a typical history book. This was an aspect of the American Revolution that I didn’t really know about, which also made it fun to read. Suitable for ambitious middle grade readers or a YA audience.
