Read more Customers Review: This book is a nice collection of Gaudi’s work.The writing is informative and the pictures, with the exception of a few pictures in the first part of the book (from the early days of photography) are bright and beautiful. I wish there was a book that showed every square inch of all of Gaudi’s projects but until then this will do nicely. I enjoyed the writing in this book but the photographs of Gaudi buildings do not capture his work well. The Sagrada Familia and other Barcelona buildings are joyful and full of light whereas the photographs were dark and gloomy. I’ll refer to my own pictures when I want to revisit Gaudi buildings. Going to Barcelona in fall and this this will be excellent book to review before trip. Information about Gaudi is good but photos are not professional quality: dark, not a good selection of details from Sagrada Familia. If you have been to Barcelona and want a momento of the works of Gaudi this is the book for you.Or if you are a student of architecture and marvel at his unique style this is the book for you ! Guadi had created some of the worlds most interesting buildings. This is an interesting and satisfying way to remember visits to Barcelona. What can I say- it’s a very well done photo book of Gaudi’s work. It really makes me want to visit Barcelona the next time I’m anywhere in Europe. I am inspired to model my house after seeing Gaudi’s work in person and this book is a great memory of the landmarks created by him.
