Customers Review: Another good book from Steve Herman to teach kiddos about empathy and feelings. My 5 year old son always get excited when we get a new book in the mail. When we were reading this he was able to connect his feelings with the character in the book. These books always provide a good starting point for life lessons in a way that it doesn’t seem like lecturing.
Another wonderful book from Steve Herman! Perfect for all children, but especially beneficial for kids needing to learn about the importance of kindness! I love his use of language and rhyming style. Great lessons for boys and girls! Enjoy!!!
This book provides a nice way to have conversation about kindness without getting upset ourselves. The illustrations are nice in the examples are applicable. I hope this author is able to provide books for younger children, possibly cardboard books and of a smaller size in the future. Or quick read books
This is yet another great edition in the Unicorn series. My daughter loves these books and has learned so much from reading them. She always references what she learned in the books and she consistently chooses to read the Unicorn and Dragon books first every day! It’s so nice to have a positive, teaching series for our little ones to enjoy that is also fun and colorful!!!
My kids both loved this book! Such a nice fresher for them on the importance of kindness with amazing illustrations to accompany the story/lesson!
I read with 2nd and 3rd graders so some of the words are a little more than they are able to use otherwise great book
I love this book and my students did too! They learn so much from the characters in the story and really see themselves in the story. This is a great resource to use in these winter months when kids are stuck inside and the days are short. It’s a nice reminder to always be kind!
My son loves the My Dragon series & now likes the unicorn series as well. It’s a great way to teach about many different things in life. |
